Broken Internal Links Can Affect Your Site Ranking In Google

I'm not sure if this is true, but it happened to my ituloy angsulong contest entry recently. I've got 8 broken internal links as reported on my Google Sitemaps account, and on that same date, my blog rankings on Google SERPs dropped. It was a tremendous drop that I can't find my blog on the top 100 for the ituloy angsulong keyword! The broken links occured when I removed some of my recent posts (which I converted to Drafts), which Googlebot tried to find when it crawled my blog.

So, as a solution, I republish the posts that I removed, hoping that my blog will get back into its original rank after Google reindexed my blog. Let us wait and see.

That's all folks! Happy New Year.

P.S. Now that Blogger is out of beta, I'll switch to the new Blogger soon. I'm still doing some experiments on Adsense placement, like wrapping the post to the ads, optimizing the meta tags, and so on and so forth.

That is a fact, my prepaid cell phone website
http://ezprepaidcellular.com/
had two broken links on pages I barely read. 2 weeks later I seen my ranking go from 12 to 34! Nothing changed, but when I went through all of my pages I figured out the problem and when I fixed I shot back up in a months time.
